Devon Farmhouse Renovation
Huxham, Devon
The extensive renovation and internal re-model of a Devon Farmhouse that had seen little maintenance over the past decades and was suffering from damp and decay.

Stages of Work: Concept to Handover
16A Architecture provided complete design and contract management services for the extensive renovation and internal re-model. The property had seen little maintenance over the past decades and was suffering from damp (through a leaking roof and flood damage) and decay.
Works included a complete re-roof in natural slate, new accoya timber sash windows and doors, structural alterations, tanking and insulation to meet current standards. Internally the accommodation was re-organised including a new staircase and opening up to provide a new large family room / kitchen.
